Terms of Sale
These terms apply to every order placed with The Unordinary Depot, a workshop in Lake Worth, Florida. "I" and "me" mean The Unordinary Depot. "You" means the person placing the order. By ticking the box at checkout you agree to them.
Last updated October 18, 2026
1. What you are buying
Everything is made to order. Each horn is printed, finished, assembled and tested after you order it. Drawings and renders on this site show the design and are marked as such; photos show finished horns. Your horn is made by hand, so small differences in finish are normal.
Prices, versions and what is included are as shown on the product page when you order.
2. Prices, deposit and payment
Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax is added at checkout where I am required to charge it. Shipping is not included in the price. If you want your order shipped, I quote it separately before you pay for it.
A deposit starts your order. The deposit is shown on your order page and is half the total unless the page says otherwise. Orders under $100 are paid in full up front. The balance is due before the order is picked up or shipped.
You pay through PayPal using the button on your order page. I never see or store your card details. PayPal's own terms apply to your payment with them.
3. Making your order
After you place an order I look it over and confirm. Printing starts once the deposit arrives. Large horns take a long time to print, one part at a time, so I do not promise delivery dates. Your order page shows each stage as it happens, and you can message me at any time.
If I cannot make your order, I will tell you and refund everything you paid. Contact me at sales@unordinarydepot.com.
4. Changes and cancellations
- Before printing starts you can change or cancel your order and I refund your deposit in full.
- Once printing has started your deposit is not refundable, because the parts are made specifically for your order. I will always try to find a fair solution, for example by moving the work to a different version.
- To ask for a change or cancellation, use the Contact page and include your order number.
5. Pickup and delivery
Pickup is in Lake Worth, Florida. Shipping within the United States can be arranged. See the Shipping and Returns page for how it works.
Risk of loss passes to you when you collect the order, or when the carrier delivers it. Please check your order when you get it and tell me within 3 days of anything that is wrong.
6. Limited warranty (90 days)
This limited warranty is given by The Unordinary Depot to the person who bought the horn or part from me. It covers defects in materials or workmanship that show up within 90 days of delivery.
If a covered defect shows up, I will repair the part, replace it or refund what you paid for it, at my choice.
To claim, contact me within the 90 days at sales@unordinarydepot.com or through the Contact page, with your order number and photos or a short video of the problem. If I need the part back, you pay to send it to me and I pay to send the repaired or replaced part back to you.
This warranty does not cover cracks from over-tightening, lock washers or power tools, a foot bolted down onto an uneven plate, or damage from drops, impacts, heat, excess pressure, misuse, modification, an installation that does not follow the owner's manual, faults in your air system, or normal wear of soft parts such as gaskets, seals and diaphragms. Replacement soft parts are sold in the shop.
Any implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, last only for the 90 days of this limited warranty. Some states do not allow limits on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limit may not apply to you.
I am not responsible for incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limit may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
7. Using your horn safely
A horn is powered by compressed air and is very loud. Read the Safety notice before you connect it. You are responsible for your air supply, your installation, your fittings and for following the laws that apply where you use it.
No pressure rating has been established for these horns, and I do not state one. Nothing on this site is a promise of loudness, pressure capacity or performance.
Many places limit horns on vehicles. For example, Florida law says no horn on a vehicle may make an unreasonably loud or harsh sound (section 316.271 of the Florida Statutes). Fitting and sounding the horn lawfully is your responsibility.
8. Limits on my responsibility
To the extent the law allows, my total responsibility for any claim connected with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. I am not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as damage to your vehicle, your air system or other property, or lost use.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that cannot be waived.
9. Design credit
The T-Series grew from the Open Tone Convertible 3 & 5 Tone Air Horn by dlatch13, an open source design released under the GNU General Public License version 3, which allows commercial use with credit to its author. I have changed it: thicker bells printed solid, an extended rear cap, new mounts and seals. I am grateful to its author. My text, photos, drawings and the way this shop is put together are mine.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Palm Beach County, Florida, unless the law says otherwise. Please contact me first, because most problems can be fixed by talking.
11. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms. The version in force when you order is the one that applies to your order. This version was last updated on October 18, 2026.
